The IT Hardware Engineering Department of a national
health care provider was challenged to quickly redesign the entire
end-to-end process flow of its work to align with the digital
transformation of the whole company.

Quantum Edge planned and facilitated a one day
session involving the entire department. In the morning
60 engineers in their regular teams laid out yellow stickies
along the wall showing how their work currently passed through
the system. Then, that afternoon, based on self generated new
performance criteria, they redesigned their work flow for better
efficiency and higher reliability.

Within a month the engineers had self organized into
several new team configurations and the leader reported
immediate and significant upgrades in both end-to-end
performance and team spirit.
